Terms & Conditions
Last updated: October 2026
Please read these terms carefully before booking a treatment at Bare Beauty Laser & Aesthetics. By making a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
1. Bookings & Appointments
All treatments must be booked in advance. Bookings can be made online via our website or by contacting us directly.
A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the treatment price is required to secure your appointment. The remaining balance is due on the day of your treatment.
By completing a booking, you confirm that you are aged 18 or over. Clients aged 16–17 may be treated for certain procedures with written parental or guardian consent.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel a booking at our discretion, including where we believe a treatment is not suitable or safe for the client.
2. Deposits & Payment
Deposits are non-refundable in all circumstances, including where you cancel your appointment.
The remaining balance is payable on the day of your appointment, prior to treatment commencing. We accept card payments.
Where a course of treatments has been purchased, the full course price is payable as agreed at the time of booking. Courses are non-transferable and non-refundable once treatment has commenced.
If you choose to pay in full at the time of booking, the full amount is non-refundable once your appointment has been confirmed.
3. Cancellation & Rescheduling
We require a minimum of 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Notice must be given by contacting us directly via phone or email.
Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with less than 48 hours' notice will result in the forfeiture of your deposit.
If you fail to attend your appointment without notice (a 'no-show'), your deposit will be forfeited and a new deposit will be required to rebook.
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to circumstances beyond our control, including practitioner illness or equipment failure. In such cases, we will contact you as soon as possible and offer an alternative appointment. No additional charge will be made.
Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may result in us declining to accept future bookings.
4. Patch Test Requirements
A patch test is mandatory before your first laser treatment and before any treatment following a significant gap in sessions (typically 12 months or more).
Your patch test appointment must take place at least 24–48 hours before your first treatment session. We cannot proceed with treatment without a completed patch test.
The patch test fee is £20, which is fully redeemable against your first treatment.
If you experience any adverse reaction following your patch test, you must contact us immediately and must not attend your treatment appointment until you have been assessed.
It is your responsibility to inform us of any changes to your health, medication, or skin condition between your patch test and your treatment appointment.
5. Medical History & Consultation
You are required to complete a full consultation and medical history questionnaire before treatment commences. It is your responsibility to provide accurate and complete information.
You must inform us of any changes to your medical history, medications, or health status before each appointment.
Certain medical conditions, medications, and circumstances may contraindicate treatment. We reserve the right to decline treatment where we believe it is not safe to proceed.
Common contraindications include (but are not limited to): pregnancy or breastfeeding, active skin infections or open wounds in the treatment area, recent sun exposure or sunburn, use of photosensitising medications, and certain skin conditions. A full list will be discussed at your consultation.
Providing false or incomplete medical information may result in harm to you and will void any liability on our part.
6. Treatment Aftercare
Aftercare instructions will be provided verbally and in writing following each treatment. It is your responsibility to follow these instructions carefully.
Common aftercare requirements include: avoiding sun exposure and using SPF 50+ on treated areas, avoiding heat treatments (saunas, hot baths, steam rooms) for 24–48 hours, avoiding perfumed products on treated areas, and not picking or scratching treated skin.
Failure to follow aftercare instructions may affect your results and could increase the risk of adverse reactions. We cannot be held responsible for outcomes resulting from failure to follow aftercare advice.
If you experience any unusual or prolonged side effects following treatment, you must contact us promptly.
7. Results & Expectations
Results from laser treatments vary between individuals and depend on factors including skin type, hair type, hormonal factors, and adherence to the recommended treatment schedule.
We will provide an honest assessment of expected outcomes at your consultation, but we cannot guarantee specific results.
Laser hair removal typically requires a course of 6–8 sessions for optimal results. Maintenance sessions may be required.
Before and after photographs may be taken for clinical records and, with your written consent, for marketing purposes. You may withdraw consent for marketing use at any time.
8. Liability
Bare Beauty Laser & Aesthetics carries full professional indemnity and public liability insurance.
We will not be liable for any adverse outcomes resulting from: failure to disclose accurate medical history, failure to follow pre- or post-treatment instructions, or contraindicated treatments that were not disclosed at the time of booking.
Our liability for any claim arising from a treatment is limited to the amount paid for that treatment.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
9. Privacy
We collect and process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is available on our website.
Your consultation and medical history information is held securely and used only for the purposes of providing your treatment and maintaining clinical records.
We will not share your personal data with third parties except where required by law.
10. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. The current version will always be available on our website.
Continued use of our services following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
